Commencement Bay Corrugated is a full-service corrugated box plant, founded and incorporated in 1980.
The Plant is 360,000 square feet and employs approximately 175 people.
CBC manufactures custom boxes and sheets for customers located in the Western United States, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Customer industries include fresh produce, processed foods, meat, fish, beverage, and industrial packaging.
The Plant has a capacity to produce over 1 billion square feet of corrugated boxes and sheets per year and specializes in value-added high graphics packaging; offering direct print up to six colors and four color process print with aqueous or UV coating.
Starting pay for the Production Helper position is $24.
90/hour with the first pay increase at of $1/hr at 4 months, or when the employee begins a bid position (bid position rates start at $26.
68-26.
96 per hour).
In addition, there is a shift differential of $1/hr on graveyard, and $0.
65/hr on Swing shift.
Pay increases at 9 & 18 months as well, and an annual increase next November, as well as Profit Sharing and Qualities Bonuses.

Production Helper
Responsibilities:
Assist team in operating box making machines at top quality speeds.
Assist with machine set ups.
Perform regular machine cleanups and minor maintenance.
Follow all plant rules and policies.
Able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
Able to work day shift, swing shift, or night/graveyard shift.
Qualifications:
Prior Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure and process basic math.
Able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 60 pounds.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a drug test, including testing for marijuana, as this is a safety sensitive position.
